Broccoli Pie
Ingredients
  • 1/2cup milk
  • 1small onionchopped
  • 1 pie dough frozen
  • 1teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 10ounces broccoli1 packet frozen and chopped
  • 1cup heavy cream
  • 1cup Swiss cheese or Monterrey grated
  • 3 eggsbeaten
  • pepper and parmesan cheese to taste
Instructions
  1. Cook the broccoli according to the instructions on the packet. Drain it and let it cool.
  2. Pinch the pie dough with a fork. This will prevent it from rising when baking.
  3. Place the cheese at the bottom of the pie dough. Add the broccoli and the onion.
  4. In a bowl mix the eggs, the heavy whip cream, the milk, and the seasonings.
  5. Place this mixture in the pie dough, and sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake at 375 ˚F for 40 to 45 minutes. Once ready, let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
