  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 7 oz. María biscuits crushed
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) softened butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Instructions
  1. Using a food processor or a plastic bag, crush the cookies to powder. Mix the cookies with the sugar well. Add the butter, which should be soft at room temperature but not melted. In a 9-inch pie mold, compress the mixture through the bottom and walls of the mold using a glass cup with the flat bottom or the back of a soup spoon. To make it firmer, bake at 350F for 8 to 10 minutes. Let it cool and place it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350F. In a bowl using a mixer at medium speed, combine cream cheese, guava, sugar and vanilla. Add the eggs and continue mixing until everything is well mix.
  3. Pour the mixture on the pie crust. Bake it for about 40 minutes or until the center is firm. Let it cool and refrigerate at least three hours or from the night before serving.

CHEESECAKE DE GUAYABA

 

Ingredientes:

 

2 paquetes (8oz. cada uno) de queso crema

¾ taza de pasta de guayaba cortada en pedazos pequeños

¼ taza de azúcar

½ cucharadita de vainilla

2 huevos

1 paquetes (7 oz.) Galletas María trituradas)

1 barra (1/2 taza) de mantequilla suavizada

3 cucharadas de azúcar

 

Procedimiento:

Utilizando un procesador de alimentos o una bolsa de plástico tritura las galletas hasta hacerlas polvo.  Une las galletas con el azúcar bien.  Añade la mantequilla, que este suave pero no derretida.  En un molde de pie de 9 pulgadas comprime la mezcla por el fondo y las paredes del molde usando pozuelo de cristal con el fondo plano o la parte de atrás de una cuchara sopera.  Para que te quede más firme hornéalo a 350F de 8 a 10 minutos.  Déjalo refrescar y colócalo en el refrigerador hasta usarlo.

Pre calienta el horno a 350F.  Utilizando una mezcladora a mediana velocidad une en un bol el queso crema, la guayaba, el azúcar y la vainilla.   Añade los huevos batiéndolos hasta que todo quede bien unido.

Vierte la mezcla en la cubierta de pie.  Horneándolo por unos 40 minutos o hasta que el centro cuaje.  Déjalo refrescar y refrigéralo por lo menos tres horas o desde la noche anterior antes de servir.

El cheesecake sobrante tiene que guardarse en el refrigerador.
