Chef Pepín (a.k.a Jose A. Hernandez) took ABC’s The View by storm, sharing his easy, affordable and delicious recipes with Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie Perez, Nicole Wallace and Michelle Collins during Monday’s show.
With his quick humor, unmatched charisma and down-to-earth approach to cooking, Chef Pepín stole the hearts of both the hosts and the live audience, while sharing some of the most popular Latin dishes, including: Arroz con Pollo (Chicken & Rice), Vaca Frita (Shredded Flank Beef), Picadillo (Spiced Ground Beef), Cuban Sandwich and a Mango “smoothie” with a little Rum.
“I could not be more excited and honored to be part of such an important show in daytime television. My goal is to make it easy and affordable for people to come together and have a good time, over a delicious meal. I love having the opportunity to spread that message across all cultures and languages”, said Chef Pepín.
Defining the American dream, Chef Pepin is self-made, innovative, talented and driven. There is no other face, name and style associated with Latino foods and cooking, in US Hispanic television than Chef Pepín.
