Crema de Vie
1 can condensed milk
1 can of rum (same amount as the condensed milk)
1 can of water
1 can of sugar
1 tablespoon of anise
4 egg yolks
1 pinch of salt
In a pan, place the water, sugar, anise and the pinch of salt, stirring until boiling to a syrup-like light consistency.
As soon as it starts to boil, lower the heat and continue heating for 1-1/2 more minutes. Then put it aside to cool.
In a separate container, beat well the egg yolks with the condensed milk and the syrup.
Mix and pour all the ingredients together in a bottle and cork it well.
Refrigerate immediately. Serves 16 oz.
