4 egg yolks
4 tablespoons Iberia corn starch
1 cup sugar
1 can Iberia evaporated milk
Same measurement as the evaporated milk with regular milk
1 teaspoon Iberia vanilla
2 – 7oz. Iberia Maria Cookies
Cinnamon to taste at serving
Blend all ingredients in a blender except the Iberia Maria Cookies. Using a deep saucepan cook at medium heat, stirring constantly with a whisk until firm. For a Family size, in an 8X8 glass baking dish cover the bottom with several layers of cookies. Pour the custard over the cookies and let it cool before refrigerate. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
For individual serving used the same procedure and serve it in a cup.
At serving, can sprinkle cinnamon to taste.
