  • 1 teaspoon gelatin powder without flavor (a packet)
  • 1/4 cup water cold
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream low fat
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1/4 cup pickles finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Horseradish sauce
  • 1 pound salmon, shredded (or a can, drained)

Instructions
  1. In a double boiler, dissolve the gelatin powder without flavor.
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Then, add he gelatin.
  3. Mix everything evenly, and place it in a mold.
  4. Place the mixture in the fridge, until firm. Serve with crackers.

  1. For the salmon mousse mold. What is horseradish ‘sauce”? and what sort of pickles? Dill, or sweet. Would pickle relish do?
